Talks@ 17 February CMS Air-Cell Insulation
We Have started our Talk@CMS for 2010. Because of the high demand for the Technical Talks and CPD Points. We have Talks@CMS on every Wednesday Night until the end of March. Air-Cell did a presentation on The talk will be on New 2010 Changes to the BCA for Energy Efficiency and new Regulations. A lot of people needed to see what changes will be made to the BCA. Talks@CMS 18 November, Danpalon & Autex
Reduce internal noise, create light weight energy reducing structures, reduce cost for any project along with complying with NSW Department of Commerce and the Building Education Revolution (BER) Program. Were the topics talked about at the last Talks@CMS for 2009.
Charles Parsons, distributor of Autex, Craig Hodgetts says Autex fabrics are 100% polyester fibre which is safe, chemical free, non-toxic, recyclable and environmentally friendly. In this range they have a product called Acoustic Composition and Acoustic Pell N Stick Tiles, both of these fabrics will absorb 40% reverberated noise.

Sydney Transport Projects : Metros and Rail Stations
Wednesday Night Talks@CMS. Satvir Mand graduated from Liverpool University. Prior to joining COX he worked for Terry Farrell & Partners London, as an Associate at Kisho Kurokawa Architects + Associates Japan. During that time, Satvir worked in Japan and Malaysia as Design Associate for the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Satvir’s projects include a number of important infrastructure developments, including the redevelopment of North Sydney Station, Sydney’s 4th busiest rail station and the new Chatswood Transport Interchange, a $300 million mixed-use development on Sydney’s North Shore and most recently the master plan and station concepts for the NorthWest Rail Line expansion, Sydney and the feasibility design for the new Sydney Metro lines incorporating the NorthWest Metro (17 Stations) and the Sydney CBD Metro ( 6 Stations) . Satvir is currently the Architectural Lead for PBACH Design Consultants for the Reference Design for the CBD Metro ( 6 Stations) and West Metro ( 11 Stations) in Sydney.
